GOOD TO KNOW
Your questions, answered.
Is Flo for the work I do?
Flo is built for field service workers, technicians, installers and maintenance crews. That includes servicing buildings, energy systems, utilities, telecom, industrial equipment, data centers, and food or biopharma facilities. Whether you’re starting out or already experienced, you can build a resume, explore skills and certifications, and prepare for your next role. Job availability depends on employers hiring in your trade and area.
Is Flo really free for me?
Yes. We don’t charge field service workers to create a profile or resume, get a personal growth plan, find job matches or apply for jobs.
Courses and certification exams from outside providers may have their own fees.
Can I create a resume without an existing one?
You don’t need an existing resume. Speak or type about the work you do, then add any education and certifications. Flo summarizes your work into bullet points you can review and edit, and helps create your resume in under 5 minutes.
Review the skills Flo identifies and confirm the certifications you actually hold before using your resume.
Can I use my resume outside Flo?
Yes. You can download your resume and use it to apply anywhere—through another job site, by email or directly with an employer.
Will there be jobs in my trade and area?
We’re adding employer partners, so openings will vary by trade and location. A suitable match may not be available right away.
You can still create your resume and get a personal skills and certification plan now. When a suitable job is available, you can use your profile to apply.
Can I use Flo if I already have a job?
Absolutely. Keep your experience and certifications up to date, explore skills to build and prepare for your next move. You can mark yourself available when your project ends or you’re ready for a change.
Can my employer see that I’m looking?
Creating a profile does not share it with employers. Your profile is shared with an employer only when you choose to apply. You can build your resume and explore your growth plan before applying anywhere.
What is my career wallet?
It’s your career profile on your phone. Add, edit or remove your experience, skills and certifications as you grow. Generate an updated resume in one tap, explore your next learning steps and apply when you’re ready.
Can Flo help me move into a different industry?
Yes. Flo helps identify skills from your current experience that may transfer to another field service role, then suggests skills and certifications to explore. You can work toward more advanced roles and update your profile as you learn. A recommendation does not replace required training, licenses, supervised experience or an employer’s hiring requirements.
What about course and certification exam costs?
Your personalized recommendations are included in Flo. Outside training providers and certification organizations set their own prices. Check their fees and requirements before enrolling or booking an exam.
Is my information secure? Do you sell it?
All your data is encrypted. We do not sell it to third parties.
Flo uses your information to build your profile, personalize your growth recommendations and match you with jobs. You choose when to apply and share your profile with an employer.
How do I refer a friend for a job?
Share a job with your friend by text. They can use Flo to create their profile and apply, or apply with a profile they already have.
How does Flo make money?
Employers pay to use Flo’s hiring portal to manage referrals, match people with jobs and work together on hiring. That supports the app for field service workers.
Your next step starts with what you already know.
The Flo app is being published and will be available shortly.
